I have been taking pictures for about 25 years. Most of my experience has been with family and friends along with several baseball vacations. Some of my first actions shots where of cliff divers in
My passion is clearly action and sports photography. While I spend the majority of my time working behind a desk, I truly love the opportunity to get out on the ball field and take action shots. My goal has always been to “catch a ball in flight” or the expression on the players face when he/she delivers the ball or slides into home!
I am most comfortable trying to anticipate where the action will be, I try to catch the moment in time that happens too fast for the average spectator to see. It's amazing what you can capture when you slow down the game. I’ve had several coaches and a few umpires ask me for samples of my work to verify a call or to use as a coaching tool for their players. I currently use Nikon equipment, and find that my motivation for this website is primarily to support my “camera habit.” Photography equipment can be very expensive, as a hobby it would be difficult to maintain and upgrade my equipment as the megapixals and speed increase every year!
Welcome to my site, I hope you enjoy your stay!
