I have been taking pictures for 25+ years. Baseball is truly my first love. I have been fortunate to shoot baseball on many levels and in a few different countries including Cuba. My baseball resume includes work with MLB teams, minor league, high school and numerous youth leagues. My background and experience include professional golf and NFL quarterback photo sessions. I have also enjoyed shooting local air shows, fishing tournaments, extreme sports, football and several formal events in the Tampa Bay area. When I’m not working at a desk, I am the photo editor for a few prominent youth baseball publications including Babe Ruth’s Bull Pen magazine. Check out some of my published work by choosing the “portfolio” tab on my home page.
My passion is clearly action and sports photography. While I spend the majority of my time working in an office, I truly love the opportunity to get out and enjoy action photography. My goal has always been to “catch a ball in flight” or the expression on the players face when he/she delivers the ball, slides into home or the collision when they hit an opponent. I hope to capture the details, emotion and essence of competition that sometimes go unnoticed!
I am most comfortable trying to anticipate where the action will be, I try to catch the moment in time that happens too fast for the average spectator to see. It's amazing what you can capture when you slow down the game. I’ve had several coaches and a few umpires ask me for samples of my work to verify a call or to use as a coaching tool for their players. I currently use Nikon equipment, and find that my motivation for this website is to continue the process of refining and improving my craft. My goal is to capture your memories for generations to follow. Don’t blink, you might miss something!
Welcome to my site, I hope you enjoy your stay!
